WELCOME TO THE VERMONT JUDICIARY PUBLIC PORTAL

The Public Portal offers customized role-based access to court records, hearing calendars and other data, and a convenient way to pay court fines online from anywhere on any compatible device

Anonymous public users and members of the general public can view case summaries for Civil Division and Judicial Bureau cases remotely. Document viewing and access to all other public case types (criminal, family, probate and others) is available to the general public only at courthouse public access terminals. Case Parties, attorneys and some public agency personnel can sign up for elevated access to their own cases and other cases to which they may have a specific right of access.

Registration for elevated access is a 2 step process that must be done once per user: (1) Register for an account: Click on register, complete the form and submit, then click on verification email that is sent; and (2) Request elevated access via the “Request Access” link on the site.

Detailed instructions for registration and use of the site are in the Public Portal User Guide here

Additional information is on the Court’s website here

Please note that electronic filing is not done through the Public Portal. Odyssey File & Serve (here) is the electronic filing site for all Vermont courts.

💻 It is recommended that you TURN OFF any pop-up blockers for this site to work properly, and that you do not use the Safari browser.
